Hardness
The Bio-Cast Casting Tape is lighter than traditional plaster casts because it consists of a knitted fiberglass impregnated with polyiurethane resin. But it becomes over 20 times as rigid as plaster casts.
Ventilation
Porous so that Bio-Cast does not have an effect on the skin. The fabric of Bio-Cast is designed for a knit form with elasticity, so the skin breathing is very smooth. It does not, therefore, cause any problem of the symptoms such as an itch, a bad odor, skin contagion and so on.
Easy application
The process of application is done just by immersing the Casting Tape Roll in water, and wrapping it around the wounded part, and then it becomes completely rigid within 20 minutes after wrapping.
Radiolucency
More efficient on account of excellent radiolucency. Unlike traditional plaster cast, Bio-Cast Tape has an excellent radiolucency. So X-rays will be taken without removing at the settings.
